Purpose
The curriculum of the degree program is four years' duration, with a total of 129 credits of instruction.  This program is designed to develop Christian character, knowledge of the Bible in Spanish, and appropriate skills for ministry in the local church, missions field or another Christian ministry.  If you take 12 credits each quarter, it is possible to complete the program in four years.

Objectives
The purpose of the degree program is accomplished when the student is able to:

1. Summarize and explain the Bible, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the major books;
2. Defend a theological position based on literal Biblical hermeneutics and apply it to contemporary issues;
3. Exhibit growth in developing Christ-like character as expressed through love for God, for others and for the fruits of the Holy Spirit;
4. Be more involved in a local church, global missions, and / or other Christian ministries, through leadership and communication skills, evangelism and Christian service.

Requirements for Graduation
Each candidate for the bachelor's degree must meet the general requirements for graduation:

Complete 129 credit hours in degree level courses with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.00, distributed as follows:
                     Bible Studies .......................... 9 credits
                     Bible and Theology ..................27 credits
                     Theology ... ... ... ... .................24 credits
                     General Education ................... 42 credits
                     Specialization or Elective ..........12 credits

Complete at least 36 credits in the Al-Andalus Theological Seminary.
Complete the degree program with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 6.00 on the Spanish grading scale or a GPA of at least 2.00 on the American grading scale.
Submit an application for graduation to the Academic Administration prior to the deadline as given in the Academic Calendar
Settle all financial obligations to the Al-Andalus Theological Seminary.
Be recommended by faculty for the title of Graduate based on personal integrity and moral ethics.
